YURI JAVIER CABALLERO, M. D. Board certified as a diplomat by The American Board of Internal Medicine since 1995. Graduated from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia Programa Academico de Medicina, Lima, Peru in 1992. He completed his residency in 1995 in Internal Medicine at Harbor Hospital Center in Baltimore, Maryland, where he also completed his internship. He has been with El Paso Integrated Physicians Group since 1996.
ROBERT A. MORENO, M. D. A graduate of Burges High School in El Paso, Texas. Graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez, Mexico in Internal Medicine in 1986. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Moreno was Chief of Staff at Rio Vista Rehabilitation Hospital and at Southwestern Hospital in El Paso, Texas and was also Medical Director at Las Palmas Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Moreno served in the U. S. Army Medical Corps. He is now President of El Paso Integrated Physicians Group where he practices in Internal Medicine.
MARIANO PALACIOS, M. D. Graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez, Mexico in 1983. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Instituto Mexicano de Seguro Social in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Palacios had a private practice until he joined El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 1997 where he practices Internal Medicine.
JOSE L. PORRAS, M. D. Graduated from Medical College of Wisconsin in 1984 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He completed his residency at Tucson Medical Center in Internal Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Porras had a private practice and worked at Sun Towers Hospital ER prior to joining El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2002 where he practices Internal Medicine.
BRIAN J. AUGUST, M. D. Board certified as a diplomat in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and also certified as a diplomat in Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1990 in Lubbock, Texas. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to joining El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2004, Dr. August practiced PM&R at Orthopedic Surgeons Associates and El Paso Orthopedic Surgery Group.
MIGUEL A. RODRIGUEZ, AGACNP-BC Graduate of Montwood High School. He served in the United States Army as part of the Air Defense Artillery. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso. His nursing background consists of critical care and outpatient surgical services. He graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from UTEP as an Adult- Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Since joining the group in 2015, his main focus has been Pain Management and Rheumatology.
SAMUEL H. FAVELA, O. D. Board certified in Optometry by Texas Optometry Board in 1991. Graduated from University of Houston College of Optometry in Houston, Texas. Dr. Favela has practiced in the field of Optometry in El Paso for many years prior to joining El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2008 which include Cataract/Glaucoma Surgical Center, Optique Vision and Image Optics.
JESUS A. CASTRO-SANDOVAL, M. D. Graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua in 1974 in Chihuahua, Mexico. He completed his residency in Therapeutic Radiology and Anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Castro-Sandoval has practiced for many years in the field of Radiology and Oncology prior to joining El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2008 which include Providence Memorial Hospital, El Paso Cancer Treatment Center, where he was Chief of Medical Staff in 1993, Las Palmas Regional Oncology Center and Del Sol Regional Oncology Center.
ROLANDO RENE LONGORIA, M. D. Graduated from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1978 in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center in Ft Sam Houston, Texas where he also did his fellowship in Gastroenterology. Dr. Longoria was Staff Physician in Gastroenterology at D. D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Ft. Gordon, Georgia and Wm. Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He has served in the U. S. Army and has practiced in El Paso for many years prior to joining El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2006.
CHRISTOPHER A. BATISTA, FNP Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by The Texas Board of Nursing. Graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Perry School of Nursing in 2009 in Lubbock, Texas as Master of Science in Nursing. Prior to joining El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2009, he practiced at Providence Memorial Hospital, Sierra Medical Center and Wm. Beaumont Army Medical Center.
ROBERT J. ABRESCH, M. D. Board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine by American Board of Internal Medicine. Graduated from University of Galveston in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Abresch completed his internship and residency at Latter Day Saints Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was Chief of Internal Medicine at USAF Hospital at K. I. Sawyer AFB, Michigan and at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso, Texas, also Arthritis Program Director and General Rehabilitation Program Director at Rio Vista Rehabilitation Hospital in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Abresch had a private practice at El Paso Arthritis Clinic prior to merging with El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 1999 as partner and Treasurer of the group and is an association member of the Fellow of American College of Rheumatology.
EUGENE C. McDANALD, M. D. Board certified in Internal Medicine by The American Board of Internal Medicine. Graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in Galveston, Texas. He completed his internship and residency at Latter Day Saints Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah in Internal Medicine. He also completed post-graduate medical study at University of California San Diego School of Medicine as Fellowship in Rheumatology. Dr. McDanald was Medical Director at Rio Vista Rehabilitation Hospital in El Paso, Texas. He had a private practice at El Paso Arthritis Clinic prior to merging with El Paso Integrated Physicians Group as partner and Secretary in 1999.
ROSARIO L. NADORRA, M. D. Board certified as a diplomat in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Graduated from the University of The Philippines College of Medicine in Manila, Philippines. She completed her internship and residency at UP-PGH Medical Center in Manila, Philippines. Her post-graduate training include: Internal Medicine Internship at Grant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois; Internal Medicine Residency at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois and Fellowship in Rheumatology at Loyola University, Hines VA Hospital in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Nadorra was a Medical Staff Member at Williamson Memorial Hospital in Williamson, West Virginia prior to joining El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2002 where she specializes in Rheumatology.
EDWARD S. LEYVA, M. D. Board certified as a Polysomnographic Technologist by The Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. Graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in Houston, Texas. He completed his residency at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dr. Leyva also attended The University of Texas at El Paso where he received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Prior to joining El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2001 where he practices Family Medicine, he was Senior Polysomnographer II at Columbia Medical Center Sleep Disorder Center and Assistant Supervisor/Board Registered Polysomnographer at Sierra Providence Memorial Hospital Sleep Disorder Center. Some of Dr. Leyva’s past volunteer work include: providing free medical attention to non-funded patients, free clinic for the homeless, counseling at a local battered women’s shelter and triage at George R. Brown Center for survivors of Hurricane Katrina.
EFREN BUFF DE LA ROSA, D. P. M. Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Graduated from The California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1991. He completed his Podiatric Residency at Los Angeles County/ University of Southern California and Podiatric Surgical Residency at Delano Regional Medical Center in Delano, California. Dr. De La Rosa has a private practice at The Foot Institute here in El Paso and joined El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2012 where he works part-time.

MARY JO WRIGHT, M.D. has more than 20 years of experience with surgical procedures and specializes in reconstructive surgery for patients throughout El Paso, TX. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and later graduated from St. Louis School of Medicine. Upon completion of her graduate education, Dr. Wright went on to several fellowships across the country in multiple fields. She has joined several professional medical societies and has built her reputation and credibility for surgical precision.
In addition to her formal education and fellowships, Dr. Wright served two tours in Iraq as an Army Commander for a Forward Surgical Team with a rank promotion to COL. As a result of her experiences in trauma care surgery, Dr. Wright works well under extreme pressure and discovered her passion for helping others to regain a confident self-image after life- and body-altering traumas.
Dr. Wright has formerly held positions as Associate Professor of Surgery, Chief of Breast Surgery, and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. After establishing herself in El Paso, TX, Dr. Wright has dedicated her career to restoring women’s physiques after undergoing breast biopsies, partial breast removals, breast mastectomies, and other similar procedures. Andrea Herrera, P.A. Graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas as President – Class of 2009. She completed her Physician Assistant training in several areas of Texas to include Seguin, Carrizo Springs, Eagle Pass, San Antonio, and El Paso. In 2003 she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with Pre-Med focus from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Prior to joining El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2016 where she practices in Family Medicine and Women’s Health, she worked at United Medical Clinics for 7 years in Family Practice. Before becoming a Physician Assistant, she worked at El Paso Center for Children Therapeutic Foster Home Program as a Clinical Program Assistant. Some of PA Herrera’s past volunteer work includes helping La Clinica Guadalupana and Sisters of Charity in Anapra, Mexico, Habitat for Humanity, and numerous free health fairs throughout Texas. She enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and family, cooking, praying, and playing sports.
